A few months ago my sister gave me a call and said "I'm on TV". "What?" I added. She said that during a recent visit at the Putah Creek Cafe in Winter CA, she and her husband John were interviewed during the taping of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
So, I thought I'd better give this place a try. Mind you I grew up in Vacaville CA which is just a short drive from Winters and I had never eaten here.
Well needless to say, my wife and I enjoyed this place thoroughly. We each had a favorite meal, I tried the Smoked Salmon Omelet and she had a mixed sausage with scrambled eggs. Both were great.
